Well, I'll try this again. Last night I was typing away on my Blog and SNAP all of the power went out. I thought that it would come right back on but it didn't, so I'm wandering around the pitch black house looking for a flash light. finally got some candles lite and waited for the power to come back on, well after about 20 mins I broke out the little 1000 watt generator and set it up on the back patio with a power line into the house so I could plug in a table lamp and the TV. about 30 mins. later the power came back on. The whole time it's raining cats and dogs outside, now I'm going around the house resetting all of the clocks on all of the electronics in the house.
It's been raining for 4 days here, not just a little sprinkle here and there but a steady rain, the mountains are getting snow that is measured by the foot and a big storm is due to hit sometime today and last thru Thursday.
The wife and I have been finishing up all of the shopping for the kid's and Grandkids but because of all of the rain I broke out the heavy iron to drive around in. If someone is going to drive like an idiot then I want to be in the Ford F350 4x4 crewcab. you can't hurt me as bad as I can hurt you. The only problem is, diesel is $3.35 a gallon around here, O-well.
Need to run for now, more coffee.

I hear you all are getting bad weather. Heard that there is danger of mud slides. Do you life anywhere that would put you in danger of ending up at the bottom of a hill or have a hill end up on top of you? Hope not. Be safe out there.
ReplyDeleteNo DD we live on flat ground but boy is it wet here. I don't think this storm will get down to where you live, but Ben and BB may get some of it.
ReplyDeleteI think the Slabs will get so heavy rain in the next 24hrs, I think BB better get the life vests out for his Duck Puppies.
