Last Friday my wife Lana and I headed out to have lunch with several couples. We were on the freeway in the fast lane when traffic ahead started stopping,just as I got stopped someone hit me from behind at about 45mph pushing me into the full size Ford van in front of me. Lana & I are ok so I get out and see that it is a full size Chevy pickup that hit me.  When the driver gets out I see that it's a female Asian about 5' tall and she has a cell phone in her hand, when I confronted her about talking on her cell phone and driving she paniced and said "no talk and drive" ya right.

Well the bottom line is both of the other vehicles had very little damage but the front of my car (2008 Chevy HHR ) is folded back on the motor. They both drove away and I had to be towed home. Insurance estimator was here yesterday and said it's $3.000 + and oked me to get it fixed. I picked up a rental car that only costs me a little over $2.00 per day so thats good.

In the last 10 years I have been involved in 2 accidents and both of them were rear enders where the drivers were on the phone.

So now it's find a good repair shop and fight with the shop to get it right.
