WELL IT WAS A HOPPY DAY HERE

The last few days have been hectic around here. First of all the wife decided that it would be a good thing to have all of the kids and their families here for Easter Brunch. Now I don't know how big events like that get done at your house, but here it means that the general (my wife) conducts a white glove inspection and then gives me my marching orders. Saturday night we preped the food items and got all of the Sunday dishes and Silverware cleaned and sorted and tables made for 8 adults and 6 kids.

We were up at 6:30 this morning and put a 10lb spirel cut ham in the oven at about 9:30. One of the girls and here family came early so she could help, that freed me up so I could hose and wipe down a bunch of plastic chairs that have been stacked in the back yard all winter.  They all started arriving about 11:30 and we had a great time setting around the table visiting, the last one left about 4:00 and we loaded the dishwasher and the cloths washer and crashed in our chairs, tomorrow I have to get every thing put away because we leave Tuesday morning for Hawaiia.

Our youngest daughter is getting married there on Thursday about 35 people are all going over for the wedding and will stay thru the following weekend, this is the wife and I's first trip there, so we are really looking forward to going.
