Putting Stuff Away

How come it is, that when you start putting all your stuff away it don't fit any more. See the problem is that I have to store stuff so it can be accessed when needed, like Halloween stuff together, and Easter, Thanksgivings, Jack Daniels Birthday, you know important days that you celibrate.  That way your not going thru everything looking for that thing on a stick that the wife just had to have 3 years ago.

I've been having problems with my laptop not staying connected to server. It will connect up and work for sometimes 2 hours and other time's only 5 mins, then it will not reconnect, I finally disconnected the wifi router and then put the power back to it and I was able to get back on line, however it lasted only for 10 mins or so. I think the Router is going south it's a Netgear and I never have liked it, it's the one with all of the blue lights that flash all the time. any suggestions on a good replacement.

Starting to get things together as we will be heading for Quartzsite,Az next week sometime, going to circle the wagons out in the desert with a bunch of friends that we don't get to see except there each year. Always enjoy getting caught up on what's going on in their lives.

Our daughter Kari called and asked if we could baby set the new gdaughter Allison tomorrow while she is off getting her hair done. We always love to do that, so we will meet friends for breakfast at 8:00 and head for her house at 10:00, this way she has to buy lunch.

Here it is at 8:30 in the evening and it's 59 degrees outside, amazing how things change weatherwize around here.

Till later

  1. Putting "stuff" away is as hard as putting the cat back in the bag.

Have fun at Quartzsite, I have never been there, just close to it. Just driving out in the desert and parking, doesn't anybody get stuck in the sand? I have driven my 4wd jeep in the Arizona desert when looking for gold and it was pretty soft sand. A two wheel drive vehicle would never get through, especially a heavy RV.

  2. DD you do have to pay attention to where your going, the area around Qsite is mostly firm ground and you park where you can see that other rigs have parked in the past. There are numerous areas outside of town that are well packed ground and you can stay there for free. One area is used by a Ham radio group for a big get together each year (quartzfest.com)check it out.

  3. Have a good time in Quartzsite I remember a crasy man in a book store there..was lots of fun. Going to get to the London Bridge and Havasu Falls? I once drove back and forth over the London Bridge while looking for the London Bridge. I had no idea it was a functioning bridge.

  4. Frann.... You by chance wouldn't be talking about the almost nude guy that ran the book store would you????? He only wears a small marble bag with all of his junk in it. The girls always take the newbies to the book store just to see the looks on their faces.
