WE MADE IT BACK ALL IN ONE PEICE

We got home earlier this week and it took several days to get it all unloaded and put away, then another 2 days to get it all cleaned inside and out, I even shampoed the carpet. We stopped at the River to get all of the systems set in the winter mode. once a week watering is all thats needed.

The last few days has been spent visiting each of the Kids homes so we could give the grand kids gifts that were bought for them in Texas and along the way.

Yesterday we attended a Baptismal service for our youngest G-daughter Allison. then a nice visit with all of the relatives who came to the afternoon feed at the daughters house.

When I took the MH back to put it in storage, I had to move the pickup that I parked in the covered storage spot while we were gone. Well it has been almost 2 months since I parked it there. When I tried to start it all it did is click, click, click. I put jumper cables on it from the MH and it still would not start, it is a diesel and has 2 batterys which were both bad so I parked the MH in a vacant spot and bought new batterys. It's amasing what $200 worth of batterys will do.

All of the Grandkids and their mothers and Grandma are at JC Penny's this morning getting their Christmas photos done. this is something we have always done every year and we have some wonderful pictures of those kids, one of them will be on our Christmas card this year.

I had hoped to stop by and visit with Billy Bob on our way thru Demings but we hit it at the wrong time. We may get by the Slabs to visit with him this year.

We will be heading for the high desert this coming Saturday with our daughter Kristin and her family for a week of motorcycle riding and fun, this is a group of about 10-15 familys who circle the wagons  in Lucern Valley, all kinds of rides are there, our son Keith with his daughter will join us midweek.

I tried to post pictures in this blog but it says that my server is rejected, whats up with that, it's the same server I have always used.

  2. Too bad you didn't get to see Ben and Bill-Bob. Things never seem to go like planned, but glad you all made it back in one piece and hope the trip was a success.

  3. You know 12 days straight of 12 hour days is a haul. When we left for home all we wanted to do was find a quite place and rest. We did have a great time and enjoyed ourself however we will not do that again (until next time).
