I know it's been a while since I updated my blog, but you see I been busy going places and fixing stuff for people. I also had a JOB I know that's a three letter word , but it payed really well for a weeks work. and I wanted to get me 2 of those 200 watt solar panels to put on the motorhome. The problem is the wife said we can live without the solar panels and put the money in the savings account. You know those solar panel companys want to only sell you 2 panels at a time, I think I could sneek around and buy 1 panel at a time but they will not co-op.
It's been unusually cool here in So Calif. it's 63* here at 9:30pm and it is kind of overcast in the mornings. Not that I am complaining or anything like that, I know that the end of the month and into Sept it will be hot.
We are taking 3 of the grandkids with us tomorrow to go camping down in San Diego county for about a week. our daughter is having some minor surgery so we are taking their kids and going to the mountains for a week so that she can recoop, and they can entertain themselves out in the woods.
Stay tuned for the outcome of this trip.

Glad your back and it looks like you had a busy time away with a lot of fun inserted, too. Your last blog was on July 16. That was the date that I started my first ever blog. Since then, I have been able to post a new one every morning. If you get a chance, stop by and check it out. I try to cover some different subject each day, except for today (same subject as yesterday). Take a look: http://dizzydick.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI wonder??? Why does my picture not show up on your followers list. It is just a blank picture and then when I put my curser on it, it says wb3dzy. That is my ham call, but I go my Dizzy-Dick on the blog. My fellow hams named me that because of my call's suffix.
ReplyDeleteHey there River....been a while. Before ya think about solar panels, do you need them? I think you have power at the lake/river...what ever. I don't recall you say'n much about boondock'n. But...if you want another toy, solar panels are a good'un. And they are cheap for what ya get. I mean, where else can you sit and watch free electricity flow'n into a bunch of batteries? My installation costed me right at $850 for 260 watts...not including existing batteries. Four of 'em.
