I never miss a chance to go grocery shopping with the wife, how else am I going to get all of the werd stuff I like .I got a can of Salmon which I love to make Salmon patties with frid taters, and then some salt pork to fry up and make red beans with. I also got a package of smoked Ham Hocks for making a big pot of Butter Beans. I also got a pack of Bratworst that I will grill up and eat with a jar of Kraut.
I been running around visiting people all weekend and didn't get nothing done, but I sure had a fun time. My son came by today and borrowed my pickup to tow a trailer he has, something was wrong with his transmission on his. he will bring it back tomorrow.
The wife spent about 2+ hours today calling around trying to find her glasses, she left them somewhere,,,that about $125.00 gone.I'm going to RiteAid and buy her a pair of them $5.00 reading glasses.

Bummer on the loss of glasses and $! I like the salmon patties real well to and have a couple of cans here as well as crackers and onion. Guess I'd have to buy eggs to make them though. I use tuna for that more often though because of less smell. They aren't quiet as good though.

ReplyDeleteI like good ole Salmon drained, pick out the skin, and eat it with crackers, onion, olives and a swipe of yellow mustard. We used to carry in the ice chest in the car for a shade tree lunch break.
