Well yesterday was a scorcher around here, it was over 100 degrees. I had planned to wash the 2 cars but the son called and asked me to come and help him remove a 200hp Mercury outboard motor from his boat, and then reinstall it with new setback hardware. The wife had Dr. appointments at 1145 so we didn't get to the Boys house until about 3:00. No food before the Dr. saw her so we were both starved Stopped and had Linner (combination lunch/dinner). We didn't finish up until about 8:00. hurried home so we could watch the rest of the Angle game and eat a bag of pop corn.

So today I still have to wash at least the pickup so we can take it to the Colorado River where we have a mobile home. We will drive out there tomorrow (235 miles) and be there all week. All of the kids and a bunch of friends will be there with their motor homes. I don't have access to the internet there so this will be my last response until I get back.

Hope to get some quality fishing time, but with all of those people on the water for the big weekend I kind of think that I will just go take a float. We always go Dove hunting on opening day Sept.1st but I don't know how many guys will go with us this year. We always limit out early and then go into Blythe and have steak n eggs thats the best part.

Ok got to run--burning daylight.
