Been to the River and back since I last Blogged. Left that fuel gusseling pickup truck (12.5 mpg) parked in front of the house and took the wife's car (21 mpg) can't carry a bunch of junk in it but it gets a lot better mileage.
We had friends join us for the week, and our son also came in for 3 days of spring cleaning ( tree triming & bush cutting). the last time we were there I called the Propane Company and wanted to get filled up,,,it was down to less than 20% they said I had to make an appointment 5-7 days before the date I needed it, well we were not going to be there to do that so we called before we went down this time and they were to deliver on Friday. Monday morning I called and raised hell with the office help and they showed up late that afternoon. The driver said he was scheduled to be there on Friday but he got sent somewhere else on a big commerical job and didn't make it. It didn't seem to matter that we waited around all day Friday for them O'WELL.was his attitude.
Spent most of this week getting caught up on servicing vehicles, oil changes ect and visiting with the kids, weather here is good today but looks like a big rain storm is due in tomorrow thru Sunday so I may get some reading done. talk to you later

ReplyDeleteSorry about that Frann, It's the Colorado River and no I did not get any fishing done, to busy visiting with company. I will remember to take some pictures next time. ps--I enjoyed your post on adding on a bathroom.
ReplyDeleteDD I don't have a ham radio on the pontoon, but I did put up a new 2 Meter antenna while I was there.
