Well it's been raining cats and dogs here for the past 3 weeks or so and now the hillsides are all nice and green.
Finished cleaning the MH and shampooed the carpet, got her put back into storage so I have time to get on to something else. that Samurai we bought started running hot and it had water in the oil when I checked, so tomorrow I well pull the head off and see if it's a blown head gasket. It didn't get real hot before I caught it. I'm thinking the guy that sold it to me knew it was this way when he sold it---O'well buyer beware---
I well have the head cleaned up and put a new gasket on it and away we go. It's easy to get to and should not take to long.

River, Never seen an engine in one of those, but I've heard they were 3 bangers. Then I heard they were 4 bangers. Which is it? I'd like to have one of them either way.
ReplyDeletetffn they are 4 cylinder motors 1.3 liter and this one is the first year of fuel injection. they are a neat little 4x4. they don't have a lot of power but they will go anywhere you point them.
ReplyDeleteI bought a samari that had huge tires on it, they were using it for a outback vehicle. Anyway the water pump went out on it and they dont even take back the core of those. Best thing is easy to work of them.
