HO-HO-HO

I can't belive what I do-----I went to bed at midnight after cleaning up the big mess in the kitchen and family room. loaded the dishwasher for the 2nd time and turned it on, and when my head hit the pillow I was out like a light .

Well at 5:00 am this morning my eyes popped open and head said let's get up and watch those dvd's the kids had made of all of those old 8mm films we took when we were all little. I'll tell you one thing, it was like reliving your life. and I looked pretty dang sharp all slim and trim with a full head of hair.

One of the nice things was seeing all of the old cars I have owned over the years, including a 50 chevy 5 window pickup that i put a small block v8 in with a jimmy 4 speed hydro.

We headed for Camarello at 9:15 and layed it down on 80 mph and at 10:15 we were getting off of the freeway, just in time to set down to a big breakfast of eggs and taters with fresh baked ham and biscuits& gravey, what timing. We headed home at about 2:30 and had very little traffic.

Turned the Christmas lights on for the last time and played with a Garman gps unit the son gave me, looks like I may be able to work it.

Hope everyone had a nice day with Santa

  2. RH, I bought a 50 chevy 5 window pickup myself at one time for $100. Believe it or not it ran. I drove it to a used car lot I was working at and about 30 minutes later someone came along and offered $350 for it. I figured what the hay I already had a 66 Pontiac rag top for a project so sole it. I put the extra $250 in to that project. My brother in law has one in his shop also and has had it for at least 25 years and still doesn't have it finished. It does have a camero front clip in it now with disc brakes though.

Glad you had a good Christmas. I have a Garmin geko201 and like it real well.
